Does anyone know how many 120 seat 733's and how many 128 seat (old 'shuttle) 733's are in UA's current fleet.

How does one know which type is scheduled on a given route???

Are there plans to go to a single configuration??

Thanks all...

I'll give you a real answer instead of a snide 'Fly" response:

Can't answer #2 or #3, but according to the brand-new jp Edition 2006/07, there are 44 of the former (F8/Y112) and 20 of the latter (F8/Y120) in the 737-322 fleet.

Hope this helps.

Thanks MGA - it sure does!

was going to invite Fly - so I only need 127 now...

Here's a related question...I'd read somewhere that United was planning to phase-out the 737-500s, but I saw photos of a couple in the new livery on airliners.net; what's the plan for those?
