At least seven foreign UN workers have been killed after protesters stormed a UN compound in the Afghan city of Mazar-e Sharif, officials say.

He also told reporters that two of the dead UN staff were beheaded.

Long past time for the US to abandon the foreign policy of the Cold War. Let them kill each other, allow Allah to sort'em out. We have no moral or legal obligation to defend the people of Afghanistan.

Here's a thought! Legalize and tax raw opium and Afghanistan gets a new cash crop (or at least a legal one), we capture the revenue generated, reduce prison and court costs and more importantly no more body bags arriving in Dover AFB carrying our youth. Hero's shouldn't die on foreign soil with no clear objective.

Prior to Bush the last time we heard so much as a word regarding a "Preemptive War" was from Adolph Himself. You could look it up
