This shows that the December 2002 RPMs increased by 15% over the December 2001 numbers, with a December 2002 load factor of 75.9%. But the more interesting item in this press release is that United''s December 2002 RPMs are down by only 5.9% compared with December 2000. Not a bad performance, although this doesn''t tell us what happened to the important RASM and CASM figures at United during this time.
