Us 757 In Man, Uk?

Not a charter...it has been there for over a week as was mentioned by an International pilot over the phone.

That is aircraft 616AU that was returned to the lessor during Chapter 11 as was aircraft 615AU. They are owned by Bank of America and Boeing.

* Ex-USAirways B757-200s N615AU [27146] and N616AU [27147], both stored at
Mojave, have been leased to First Choice Airways, UK.

I am quite surprised that the logo and US Airwyas lettering have not been removed; aren't they the copyrighted property of US Airways?

I would think there would be some legal requirement for the aircraft owner/leasing company to remove them before the aircraft is operated commercially (as oppossed to being ferried or parked). Example: When Commutair switched from US Express to CO connection a few years ago, their Beech 1900s could not fly for CO until the logos/titles had been removed (even though the planes were still painted in basic US colors).
