Apparently US has approached PSA again to fly at least 4 crj900s. The offer is carbon copy of last years offer.According to the PSA MEC hotline. Wonder whats in store for the wholly owned PDT/PSA for long term? What ever happened to the "flow through". Maybe after the merger is finalized? Who knows!!!! I do know that pilots are leaving in droves at PDT. They cant even get people to show up for an interview. The ones that do get hired cant get through ground school/ sim.

This is simple! Just do like last time! Tell them to shove the 900's up there arse until they can change the payrates and QOL!

If they are offering them again, my guess is that you folks might have more leverage then before!

Good Luck

Our union already told them to shove it. 6-0 vote. Didn't even have to go the pilot group. Heck, we already said no about this deal for 30 of them. What would make them think we would change our minds about getting just 4?

There is a pretty good rumor floating around that there are 4 900s in Airways paint sitting on a Canadian ramp somewhere. This is when we were actually supposed to start flying them if we HAD taken the deal the first time around so it is possible that they already have the paperwork on them. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Shouldn’t you be able to research this info somehow?

Mainline shouldn't touch them for ANY amount of money. If nothing more than out of respect for the PSA pilots.

Outside of needing a J/S ride to your country estate in Hickory, since when did you mainline guys have even the smallest amount of respect for any express guy or gal???

They provided the LOA to allow express to fly the shine new jets

Wrong!! They provided the LOA to allow express to fly only 1/2 of the "shiney new jets". And that was after all your furloughed folks took the Captain seats. Nice touch.

This just in....... US has made an offer to PDT Airlines to remove any and all scope clauses that will block PDT from gaining any additional aircraft. In lieu of this.....US is offering PDT 6 brand new C172Sp. The only condition is the pilots will have to operate them for a CFI wage. PDT MEC agreed to the offer and will send it to its pilots for a ratified vote. Stay tuned for further developments.

Take the things out and nuke them. The 900 may be the worst aircraft ever from a pax perspective.

Of course, the AAA mec authorized what, like 90+ of these things? I'm surprised Tempe bought any -190s.....
