During the campaign Barack Obama told Pastor Rick Warren that he wasn't sure at what point a baby gets human rights.
He said it was above above his paygrade: Video Link

But on only his third day in office Obama signed legislation to fund abortions around the world.
Times of India
ROME: A senior Vatican official on Saturday attacked US President Barack Obama for "arrogance" for overturning a ban on state funding for family-planning groups that carry out or facilitate abortions overseas.

It is "the arrogance of someone who believes they are right, in signing a decree which will open the door to abortion and thus to the destruction of human life," Archbishop Rino Fisichella was quoted as saying by the Corriere della Sera daily.

 Im sure Rick Warren is feeling all warm and fuzzy right now.

Obama waited until after the January 22nd March Against Abortion in Washington to reverse Bush's executive order. Cowardly move by Obama.

How could taxpayer-funding of overseas abortions stimulate the economy?

Sickening. Waaay more than Obama playing the black card (and all those in the black community who claim him) when his Obama's father only sired him and disappeared. Familiar ring? If it wasn't for Obama's courageous white mother and white grandparents he wouldn't have been around to take the oath on the 20th.

He's already making great moves firing up the Conservative Christian base....just what the GOP needs to come back to grips.

The guy and his administration sure are a bunch of inexperienced operators. They been getting their way from the press way to often and now it seems that's going to change.I thought the Clintstone's were bad.....this is going to be fun to watch.

Same way any foreign aid stimulates the economy. It doesn't. So you don't think the timing had anything to do with the passage of Roe V Wade? You don't think the march had anything to do with the passage of Roe v Wade on Jan 22, 1973. The march was a protest and Obama's signing of the EO was an indication of his support of Roe. Not sure where the cowardly part comes in.

BTW, just stumbled on this.

Bush and Clinton both did it.
Both Bush and Clinton traditionally made policy changes towards family planning groups on Jan. 22 on the anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision which legalized abortion in America.

Kind of nukes your conspiracy theory huh?

As far as for the black card, not sure how you get that one either. Reagan, (old white guy) started the practice in '84. Clinton (mid-aged white guy) reversed the order. Bush (mid aged white guy) reinstated the order. And now Obama (a mid aged black guy) rescinded it again. Were Regan, Clinton and Bush playing the white racist card? Or was it simply an extension of their political beliefs that they either believed or did not believe in abortion?

The abortions are not being forced on anyone so whether or no not Obama would have been born 46 years ago has nothing to do with the issue at hand. I suspect, abortions were difficult and costly back then.
