Virgin American starts 4xdaily service, EWR to LAX and SFO

To begin Nov. 18th.  (Didn't AA or someone else used to do some nonstops from EWR to the West Coast?  I don't think they treated them as transcons with the elaborate service and all.)

It's been ages, but yes, AA used to run a two class 757 EWR-LAX. Created real problems when F customers showed up at JFK and wanted to fly in the ticketed cabin... they got business.
