Astronomically speaking, Winter begins at 0651 on 22DEC this year. So, Yeah, November and most of December are Fall months.

I would not disagree however that AMR management is consulting the Tarot, an astrologer, or casting the entrails of a chicken. It's as good an explanation for their actions as any.

The earth is closest to the sun in the winter. The solstice represents the time when the sun is lowest in the sky in the northern hemisphere. Above the arctic circle the sun will not rise, and here in New York at noon the sun will only be 26 degrees above the horizon.jimntx said:
