What Ever Happened With Qantas To Dfw

Back when AA returned some of our 737s to Boeing, we were told that a deal was made with Qantas. In that news realease they said that Qantas was going to start DFW-AKL service. What ever happened to those plans?

I remember that announcement as well, but believe the deal stated something about waiting until 2005 when Terminal D, the new international terminal is completed. Of course, the industry has gone through a lot since then so who knows what the plans are now.

They are adding Chicago O'Hare instead. Melbourne-Los Angeles-O'Hare starts on 29 March 2004.
