Airline hopes to get into your kitchen

You wouldn't know it from the flights, but Southwest Airlines has more in its culinary lineup than peanuts.
The discount airline just published a company cookbook to celebrate its 35th anniversary. It contains more than 737 (get it?) family recipes and employee musings.
Phoenix is one of the airline's biggest hubs, with 4,200 employees, and local workers are well-represented. There's flight attendant Dawn Giese's Gorgonzola Grapes in the appetizer section and flight attendant Julie Plant's ham and scalloped potatoes in the dinner section. Kim Prinz, also a flight attendant, submitted Kool-Aid Play Dough for the family fun section.
Southwest executives got in on the act, too. CEO Gary Kelly has the first entry in the dinner section with his Red Chile Enchilidas.
Not surprisingly, Southwest founder Herb Kelleher's contribution is in the adult beverage section, under his first name. The Bloody Bull Cocktail has vodka, tomato juice, beef bouillon and lemon and lime. Kelleher is known to favor Wild Turkey, so he's also bound to try Wild Turkey Mushroom Pate in the appetizer section.
