CLE used to be my home town airport, but CO's concourses C/D are the pits. A very long walk if you arrive at D10 (even longer if you are going to your car). It can take 15 minutes easy. DFW may be old and a depressing concrete block, but you can get from gate to car in 5 minutes from almost any gate. The elite line management at C security is a farce. Concession stands are c**p -- the addition of a Max and Erma's on C was a welcome, belated improvement. Even the President's club, though quite nice, is a real hike if you are flying out of C3 or C4. Oh, and you have a good chance of "traffic flow" delays just from over flying traffic in the Cleveland area. The 10 minute drive to car rental with inadequate signage to find your way out or get back.
Do I not like the international arrivals and double bag check at Concourse A as well. So much to not like!

Once they finish the new parallel runway, they need to address the terminal situation.

Never been to Guam. IAH seemed OK the one time I connect through but I've never arrived/departed there. EWR post redevelopment seemed good, but I've only been through when it was nearly empty just after 9/11.

At least it was CO doing the hub flying -- what a nightmare if it had been a DL or NW hub.

Although CLE is not the nicest airport in the world it has improved in the last couple years. The addtion of Concourse D, The new and longer runways, new signage throughout the entire airport, lower landing fees, new restaurants Max & Ermas, Cleveland Brews etc, addtional baggage claims, The new front area of the airport. More improvements to come are new carpet throughout the entire airport, more restaurants in the rotunda area of Concourse C, the entire ramp is going to get new concrete, Customs to be re-done, a new ATC tower...So I think the new airport director Jon Mok has done alot since he has come to CLE..

One of the things I liked about IAH was the fact that their concessionaire prices were very close to street prices and not the O'Hare style $4-for-a-pack-of-gum ripoff. Haven't been there since 9/11, but will be in the future - are the prices still good?

IAH of course...............by the way when wil lthe center east/west runway rebuild be completed? When it is finsihed I wander if they will then use the far north runway for takeoffs also,it would make sense.

Love the New Terminal E...........PAPADEAUX'S...........Best airport restaurant in the world!

I think Newark is the best even though I live in Long Beach, Ca. I think it is one of the cleanest, friendliest airports in the Continental system.

Guam for sure! All the betel nut you can chew and Philippine Rat Snakes keep those pesky ground nesting birds in check!
