Where is the synergy?

All I see is fighting between labor groups from U/E and U/W. Was the synergy crap ala Dougie & Scotty a smoke screen to get outside investors to pump cash into a bottomless pit? Just smoke and mirors to make a small fortune off their option grants? Do these clowns even care about the trouble they have caused a large portion of the key work force?

Was employee integration an afterthought of the merger synergy dicussions/analysis?

The sum of the parts were worth more than the whole, whats changed? How did Dougie talk billions out of sophisticated investors? In the mean time, he is stuffing his pockets with what used to living wages for most the employees. If the unions had any relevance, especially after his umpteenth DUI, Parker should be out of a job like the maytag repair guy.

The Certificate could be merged by June 1. Operational integration: highly unlikely.

CCY has been synergized into Tempe, for one. PSP-PWM is now an option for US Air, albeit with 2 stops.

I agree with you. The old U Sked would call and say "Ok, take a cab from LA to Stockton and let us know when you get there." They had no clue where Stockton was or that it would take far longer than they imagined to get there(I forget now how long it would have been-but it was a LONGGGGGGG WAY). This would be the 3rd or 4th merger(PSA,PIA,AWA),I lose track.
As long as we make money we are OK. If we start losing money the hair on the back of my neck will stand up just like it did through BK 1&2.
I know that feeling when it comes.
