I have been here only a short time and have seen the support for this " New Direction Team " increase 10 fold. I will have to assume that since you haven't been here that you feel like ur about to be looking for another source of income. No more videos please. They don't do justice to the employees of this company. You might have ur cushy union job but we're hear fighting for our futures.

Just facts and nothing else if you are legit. The membership would appreciate it. Thanks

Back to topic anyone know when or if the company is coming back to the table

They had informational meetings and discussed some things the company proposed. The negotiations were suppose to end with a tentative last week but a few members of the new negotiations committee wouldn't go along with the crowd. So a counter offer was proposed with a $20 proposal but didn't counter with wage increases in steps 1-9 of the wage scale. Also, the counter offer put qualifiers on the smaller stations out west. I haven't seen the language but any negotiating position from the union standpoint should start at protecting all current work, regardless of how many flights.

Wouldn't go along with the crowd or wouldn't sell out their brothers and sisters? The word we are hearing is that a few members of the new NC were told they could have a position higher up if the would just go along with the "crowd" The answer was "no thanks, we are here to make sure that our brothers and sisters get a fair deal." Thanks guys for standing up for us. Keep it up. BTW: CLT is all abuzz about the upcoming nominations and election. Times they are a changing.

What you guy's weren't ready for is an uprising of pissed off airline workers, call it the perfect
storm. All the right ingredients for an ouster coming together with the anger of the misrepresented.

If US didn't need something from the fleet, they wouldn't be knocking on our door.
We have a contract until Dec 31 09, why do we need to sign an extention on another concessionary
contract. BINGO, we don't.

Your reputation stands for it's self, I guess you'll fight hard knowing you were so close to being
handed the general chairmans post. TAH....TAH.

a represenitive of this group. It reads of , ''how dare you question us''. It has
become apparent to me that if ''liberace'' is indeed the one of the voices of the
current leadership then the time for change is now.

Not only has he or she shown me the ignorance the Canales' hold for this group but
''liberace'' has helped in thier own demise and at no point has he or she bolstered
thier support, if any remained.

What a sad way to show your lack of compassion for the group.

Well, you may laugh all you want, but when you are sent back to where you came from I will be sorry for you. That's because ur regime didn't know how united fleet was and you could have been a part of that, instead you choose the road ur on. Open a thread, if you dare, open to all the membership asking for support in the upcoming elections instead of sending hand written letters to just the chairpersons of our stations. Maybe you will get a feel of where ur support lies. Don't be afraid.....the membership will be civil and tell you like it is. I have confidence in that

I would not call it a lack of compassion, I thought it was about presenting your view without being judged or critized we are all entitled to our own opinions.
