Why Usairways Thread So Active?

Anyone have any idea why USAirways forum is 4x more active then the second active forum and 7x more then the third?

and why some posters have more posts then some airlines complete threads?

It can't be just because of the bankruptcys UAL only has 16,500 posts to Usairways 120,000

Because we have people here that are passionate about US Airways! Good and bad!

I forget who wrote it but there was an article about US Airways regular customers being almost "Cult Like" in their loyalty.

Also according to my sources the Industry views US & UA as having the most militant unions. Which would explain the hiring of Mr Glass and the venom spewed here against the company. Same as the "Cult Like" quote would explain the passion of some of the customers on here.

Well, it doesn't hurt that 7 of the top 10 posters on this site either work for, are furloughed from, or fly US.

Also, don't discount people (like myself) who come over here because they can hear crickets chirping in their carriers' forum(s).

If this were the American Airlines board, this thread would have already been turned into a "TWA is the cause of all AMR's problems" or a "TWU Sucks, AMFA Rules (or vice versa)" argument. It gets reaalllly boring.

Interestingly, and prior to US aviation.com and US Airways' first bankruptcy, the same was true at the US Airways Yahoo Financial Chat Line.
