will the postoponed vesting of the stock affect its price?

I need some help here. I have been told that the company will be putting out some pretty good numbers regarding unexpectedly high load factors/future passenger bookings. With issuance of common stock it would seem to command a higher price given the present public information is only fair. But does the vesting of shares have anything to do with the price? or to put another way, I know our vesting won''t be adversely affected but what about the price...or does it matter?
