It''s not only us, Dave. I kind of hope that the Southwest mircle implodes soon too. When will someone get their head out of their crack up in Washington and figure out that regulation is needed again.

.....Unless I missed something, the article speaks to losing money if we attack Iraq, there will be a whole lot more than WN losing money if that ocurs.

Really? So thats what it is. Southwest has been kinda hoping for the mess that the other airlines are in?

Someone needs to get their head out of their crack all right...

Re-regulation isn't going to happen. The dinosuars will be allowed to die and neither the public nor Congress will shed a tear. US and UA will be allowed to fail if that is where things end up. So will AA, DL, CO & NW. All of them will be permitted to fail if they hold on to their current business model.

SWA, HP, AS, JetBlue, Airtran and any "big six" airline that "gets it" before it is too late will take their place.

There is no danger whatsoever that the entire industry is going to die. Only the high priced gouge the customer cartel is in trouble.
