UAUA is off 8.5% at 11:15am.

28.35 down 2.65

I guess the street isn't on the Tilton bonus bandwagon.

Don't worry, though. 767Jetz will soon be reporting from his elegant crash pad that this is a mere blip on the road to world domination.

Nope. Wouldn't consider commuting for this job. I'd quit before moving away from NY.

And FYI, I also predict the stock to go down further. Until Tilton is replaced or changes course and starts sharing the wealth with those who sacrificed, rather than rewarding share holders with ridiculous dividends, he will continue to experience the consequences of an unmotivated work force. Not a good thing in a customer service industry, and certainly not good for the stock price.

It seems like they do not even care. There is a reason for this, they do not. A transaction is in the making that employees need not apply. The recent activity in the regional airline sector is just the start. Virgin America will be very popular with consumers and government officials, not with airline employees in the US.

Using the most appropriate ..."one single word only"..to describe what Tilton, and his BOD's are doing to UAL, and especially it's employees ? ............................"CRIMINAL" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. McDonald's 'My Dog ate my Homework' thesis to the Chicago Tribune was met with the same skepticism as 'My Dog ate my Homework' excuses typically are! Everyone knows the reasons why UA is operationally disfunctional. Now, It's publicly embarassing.

UAL's Internal Discord

Analyst James Higgins of Soleil Securities lowered his rating on UAL (nasdaq: UAUA - news - people ) Monday morning to "hold" from "buy," saying the company's internal disputes have weighed on its bottom line. One example: United pilots are still miffed by management's early December approval of a $250.0 million special cash dividend to shareholders. As a result, the pilots refuse to fly more hours than specified in their contracts, which may lead the Chicago-based airline carrier to cut back its flights.

UAUA closed down 16.5% on Tuesday, Jan 8 to close at $24.39. Mistake? Large trade at the end of the session?

It is sickening and remarkable what useless BOD/ Sen. management are allowed to do to companies in this country. It is BROKEN and something drastic has to happen to right it.

I just wonder how the country would react to a complete shut down of EVERY major carrier in this country...JUST ONE DAY! (LOW PAY EMPLOYEE DAY)

When the rest of the world starts living better than the richest nation on earth...something is WRONG with the picture.

United Airlines , is starting the Recession the USA is heading for. All the stock shows it today.
WE NEED CHANGE.... CHANGE IS THE KEYWORD NOW...... New CEO and NEW USA PRESIDENT
Watch for the CHANGE AT UAL to be a big merge in first quarter 2008.

Unfortunately, the people who run the country get millions of dollars from useless BODs and Senior Executives. Lawmakers aren't going to choke the 'Golden Goose' for ethical reasons. When you have symptoms as congressmen soliciting sex in airport bathrooms, and BK Judges suspected of being on the 'take', ethics were tossed out the proverbial window a long time ago.
