But when is big to big? A 90-seat Dash-8 just seems to big even for some high density short range northeast markets. I wonder if the Q400 is to big. I'd love to see Piedmont get a bunch of new Dash-8-300s (60+) and fly the daylights out of them in the northeast and mid-Atlantic.![]()
You must be a pilot. I find them to be the most observant when it comes to equipment size.
Seriously though, the dash 8 is a better fit for short haul high demand markets. Better than CRJ 900. The newer models have less problems with weight restrictions,which are the bane of my life, than the current early builds in the fleet.
