Today marks DL's 85th birthday.

Delta Air Lines has come along way since the open cockpit mail and passenger flights of the late 20s to become the world's most profitable public airline, one of the highest valued, and one of the most respected by investors who have rewarded its stock some of the fastest growth in recent years among all publicly traded companies.

they do have some employees on the cover.

apparently you feel slighted that you didn't get selected?

just for curiosity's sake, have you actually raised the question and expressed your displeasure about the lack of a BW CSA in the photo thru DL communication channels?

again, did you raise the question?

Is it possible that DL might consider ACS personnel above wing and below wing as one workgroup?

I don't doubt that it would not take a whole lot to add your charming mug to the Sky magazine to avoid an internet rebellion, but either someone was really asleep at the wheel or they have another explanation.

rather than writhing over the fact that you were excluded, how about you raise the issue thru internal channels?

Does the ability to celebrate DL's BD hinge on that you or your workgroup didn't get included in the photo?

How about cargo? where is the complaint from them?

where is the legal division's complaints? flight control? ....

I missed this posting yesterday.  Happy 85th to Delta and all its employees!!!

regardless of whether cargo and ramp are one in the same or two separate groups the bottom line is is they were excluded from the photo shoot to be on the cover of the mag...    btw happy 85th b day to delta

Yep.

Do cargo agents and ramp agents wear the same uniform?
Yep... Except on magazine covers apparently...

BTW, the company recognizes ACS & Cargo as 2 wholly separate work groups...

Bingo.

And that omission speaks volumes.

so help me out, Kev. There is a cargo agent in the picture (apparently because you know who it is and where they work or because the picture is captioned as such?) and they wear the same uniform as the ramp but there is supposed to be a ramp agent wearing the same uniform in the picture too?

how many other uniformed employees in the picture are there who are wearing the same uniform?

Do ramp agents have an optional red shirt?

is the Sky Club a separate business unit from gate and ticket counter agents who also didn't get represented in favor of a Sky Club agent? how many Sky Club agents are there compared to gate and ticket counter agents?

what is a customer experience supervisor, other than someone who, like a Red Coat, FA, and ramp agent gets to wear red?

any other work groups get to wear red that aren't represented in the photo?
