This new forum system is still new to me, what I was going to say is AirTran has obtained new 717s: N989AT, N990AT, and N981AT. According to some AirTran sources, they will only have 16 DC-9's left at years end...........

Actually, They have recieved Ex-Vuelamex ships 760, 761, 762, and 763. The rest of the 717s are -2BD while the Ex-Vuelamex are -23S.

760 = N988AT
761 = N989AT[raise:]
762 = N990AT
763 = N991AT

I think that for the rest of the year for every 717 we get a DC-9 will be retired. Which should give us a fleet of 50 717s and 16 DC-9s by DEC of 2002.[]
