Yesterday Alitalia messed up and accidentally filed a $33RT fare from YYZ to Larnaca (LCA) in Cyprus...
I guess a lot of people purchased the ticket yesterday including myself, but everybody I know who purchased the ticket received e-mail from Oribitz today saying it was a mistake and that Alitalia and Orbitz are not honoring the ticket. In fact, when you I logged into my account it says the trip was canceled.
Doe anybody knows if this is legal since I had received my purchase confirmation with my Altialia PNR an Orbitz number. Would appreciate any incite or direction on what to do about this. I know in the past when other airlines have messed up like this they have always honored the ticket.
