AMT Day began 13 years ago thanks to FAA Inspector Richard "Dilly" Dillbeck,from the Sacramento FSDO, when he had then Senator Knight introduce and pass Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 70 "Aviation Maintenance Technician Day!
