Ceo Salary Story

$286k and a pile of restricted stock that is likely to be worthless before June 30 looks cheap to me. Doubt you could find any competent executives willing to work for less. If anything, perhaps US needs to find a higher paid CEO. After all, you get what you pay for. B)

A salary of $286,058 is not much at all for a CEO of a company the size of US and with the trouble of US. Remember, Lakefield didn't create this mess, he's only trying to fix it. What he's trying to fix it for -- merger, break-up, standalone major, standalone regional, etc. -- remains to be seen.
