Boeing Blocked from opening second 787 Line

If he is so anti-business, explain the TARP funding to Banks and the Automotive Industry.

Well this forum is somewhat limited for a full response. But here is an idea.

Crushing debt is anti business

Excessive taxation drives jobs overseas and ergo anti business

What union members have to wrap their arms around is that in order to strike you first have to have a job. If you do the research Barack Obama is in addition to being a statest is also a globalist, both of which do not bode well if you punch a time clock

In laymans terms and more to the point , No banks= No companies= No union jobs !

Automotive industry = a payout to the UAW !

Jesus. Really?

So you use a (sort of) multiplier effect to justify the Wall St. bailout, but not for the auto industry?

Okay, then...

I'm not justifying any of it. Just stating why Obama was more than happy to accommodate both !

It would appear that some people on this thread are missing a very important point. Point being the 787 program is a mess because of the decisions made at the beginning of the program by the people who run the company. The people who build the 787 in Everett have little to do with the problems with that program. The decision to have a second production three thousand miles from the first is just another bad decision piled on top of all the other ones regarding the 787. Setting up a second production line will not fix what is wrong.

I know people are going to try and say that if the union goons in Washington were to just get their act together they would not have the issue of a second production line. Once again the problem is not the folks building it. You can trace the problem to having a totally unrealistic entry into service date for the first mass produced composite airliner. Add to that having sub-contractors like Vought do work they had not done before. Like stuffing the sections they made with all the associated equipment whereas before Boeing would do that work. End result, work not being done properly which resulted in work getting out of sequence. That’s why Boeing has a facility in Charleston in the first place. Vought made such a mess of things, aided and abetted by Boeing; Boeing had no choice but to buy them out. For around a half a billion dollars, that should cut into profits.

If Boeing wanted to go overseas (which they already have) they would have done it if were to their advantage.

Boeing appears to be going down the route of McDonnell Douglas. Farming out as much as they can to domestic and overseas suppliers. We all know what happened to them. Not that any of us should be surprised, a lot of the people who drove MD into the ground ended up at high level positions at Boeing.

What's truly worrisome is that the wing is not being produced in the USA. That falls under the category of giving away the farm.

Ahh, finally see the Marxist/Socialists through the trees.
Your President is so far from being Marxist/Socialist it is laughable that you even entertain the thought.

Most people who label your President with this have no clue what the definition of those terms are.

"Your President" twice infers to all he is not yours......

Maybe its just a coincidence he surrounds himself with like minded cabinet and administration members.

What is laughable is the koolaid you drink......

Oh, I forgot, you are the resident self appointed adult in the room.

…John Drew was a contemporary of Obama at Occidental College and a Marxist himself. In fact, Drew was a well-known campus communist when Obama was introduced to him as “one of us.” “Obama was already an ardent Marxist when I met in the fall of 1980,” said Drew, going on the record.
Drew is certainly cognizant of the gravity of his statement. “I know it’s incendiary to say this,” he adds, but Obama “was basically a Marxist-Leninist.” He noted how Obama, in Dreams from My Father, stated that when he got to college, he attended “socialist conferences” and “hung out” with Marxist professors. But what Obama did not explain or clarify, says Dr. Drew, is that Obama “was in 100 percent, total agreement with these Marxist professors.”

Duh....

Yeah. All the former bankers and finance guys are socialists???

Larry Summers
William Daley
Tim Geitner
Thomas E. Donilon

You have to be kidding.

Obama's Wall Street cabinet

It is not new for leading figures from finance to be named to high posts in a US administration. However, there has traditionally been an effort to demonstrate a degree of independence from Wall Street in the selection of cabinet officials and high-ranking presidential aides, often through the appointment of figures from academia or the public sector. In previous decades, moreover, representatives of the corporate elite were more likely to come from industry than from finance.
In the Obama administration such considerations have largely been abandoned.
Quoted from the WSW

The socialists do not like Obama because he is not one of them.

Just like Wall Street and the Obama administration, eh?
Make up your mind. Is he a socialist or does he cater to Wall Street?

Last time I checked, most Wall Street types liked to keep their wealth and also promote policies that encourage that philosophy.

EVERY POTUS since FDR's creation of Social Security has had legislation enacted that involved the redistribution of wealth in America. Redistribution of wealth is a fundamental tenet of Socialism.

so·cial·ism
   [soh-shuh-liz-uhm] Show IPA
–noun
1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.
3.(in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.

Barack Obama leans further towards the socialist/communist agenda then any prior POTUS. Now then since socialism requires vast sums of money to fund. Where does one go for advice on thing monetary? WALL STREET! So be they Liberal or Conservative all roads lead to Wall Street. Obama is no different except that to some he was beamed into the USA by Commander Scott but that's a different thread.

If you start researching any politician you'll see things like interlocking directorates, stock ownerships and the like. Do it long enough and you'll end up seeing black helicopters in the night while listening to Art Bell with your Tin Foil hat.

All I can say is "Follow The Money". Do that and pretty soon you'll find out why the Federal Reserve needs a full audit. It's also the reason Ben Bernanke had a press conference and Obama released his birth certificate on the same day. His poll numbers were beginning to tank and the clamor to audit the Fed was rising which would not bode well of ANY POTUS especially not one running for reelection.

Shiny Metal Objects folks!

I hope Boeing can go forward an be successful in South Carolina. I would love to see them bring back some of the outsourced work to the SC plant.
