Communissss!

A mere continuation of the growing globalization of beer producers.

In Bev of Belgium bought Budweiser, Coors and Molson merged. It's very hard to find an independent brewing company that brews for the masses. Most of the growth in the US comes from the craft beer market.

Our beer market is starting to look a lot like Belgium. Two or three very large players and then about 70 other brewers out there of varying sizes and quality of product. Russia has tried to get into the game over the years and this AFAIK is their first successful attempt

You can still get an ice cold 16oz can of PBR on Beale Street for $.99

You can even walk around with it and watch the flippers do their thing.

That will end now that the communiss are taking over.

InBev also bought Modesto, makers of Corona.

Didn't know that. InBev has had its checkbook out for years. Missed the Corona purchase. InBev has something like 200 plus brands. Most not available here. Some that are = Becks, Hoegaarden, Leffe Amber and dark varieties, Stella Artois among others
