I have a trans Pacific flight booked out of LAX, Singapore Air. I live in Oregon state and will need to fly to LAX.
The Singapore flight departs LAX at 11:30 PM. Delta flights from Oregon will require a stopover (ditto Alaska, American: the other options). My concern--from past experience--is the stopover flight.
If there is a problem at the connecting point what is the best strategy to ensure I reach LAX by 9:45 PM latest? Does the type of fare purchased affect what the agent will do to get you on another flight? It would also be helpful to know if there was a way of alerting Delta (or Alaska, American) of my LAX deadline.
Anyone have experience / insight here?
