What he is basically saying is that theft is legal until the person is caught. In that light, BO could issue an EO that the sun revolved around the earth. It does not change the fact that the EO is wrong and unenforceable. An EO violating the COTUS could be issued but it would never be valid and would never be enforced.

Yes. He tried to throw some crap out against the wall. It did not stick. He was called on it, and now we are seeing some kind of tap dance instead of just admitting that the whole topic was DOA because he did not bother to google it.

The theory behind this thread has got to be one of the assinine I have seen here in quite some time. The lack of understanding of US law on Dells part and the ignorance of Southwind regarding the debt ceiling is amazing. No wonder this country is in the state that it is.

Duh, that's why we have checks and balances....in case our fearless leader would go off the reservation and start dictating. The President can do whatever he thinks he can get away with if he so desires. Its up to the other two branches and the people to keep the government in check.
