Delta Air Lines Inc. expects about 1,000 jobs to be lost as a result of moves to slash flights from Cincinnati, its second-largest U.S. hub airport, its chief operating officer told employees on Wednesday.

Attended the meeting in Comair Flight Ops today, Fred didn't want anyone saying the "F" word, but the four letter "F" word was okay. He said talking about paycuts was not up for discussion today. Felt like the tension in the Crew Facility could be cut with a knife!

"F" word? LMFAO See the true "F-Word" is an accepted aviation term. I am making the assumption that you are referring to "furlough"..

Yeah, nobody in management has a pair big enough to address the 'pay-cut' issue. Another cut at DL and there will be a MASS EXODUS!
