California AG sends cease and desist letter to state GOP amid reports of unofficial ballot boxes

State GOP spokesman Hector Barajas said Monday the party owns the boxes. He declined to say how many exist or where they are located. Barajas said the state's law governing so-called ballot harvesting an organization to collect and return groups of ballots.

Guess y'all aren't familiar with the concept of ballot harvesting? It's legal in CA for *anyone* to collect ballots. Other states allow this as well.

Democrats are the ones who pushed for this to be legal, but now that the GOP is using the rules the Dems created, the Dems don't like it. Typical.
