Hello Charlotte

And where are they going to park? Some airstairs out in the economy lot? The CLT airport execs want a part of that juicy 2 bil for themselves. They can afford to let WN cool it's heels.

The best hunter is a patient hunter. I'm sure GK is willing to wait.

Any main terminal expansion @ CLT has been put on the back burner, only expanding E Con for express ops at this time...

In the airline business, It doesn't take much for the hunter to become the hunted...No matter how patient the hunter is.

Southwest Airlines has had a target on its back since day one.

Actually, since CLT has the physical space, if they refuse to accomodate a "new entrant," they put federal funding at risk.

But WN has displayed it's willingness to build it's own terminal (BFI). I say let them spend their money on a terminal. Lottttsa money!

Now WN has begun earning that target with their 900 lb. gorilla attitude. Even they are vulnerable to 10 100lb gorillas.

Yeah, they have some gate space open in the International D Concourse, but does WN want to fork over the cash needed to make these gates actually operational? A number of them aren't completed yet. The rent for these international gates is also higher. The rest of the airport is full. Bummer.

God help the single Gorilla that get charged though, he won't have a chance. The other nine may have a change of heart once they see what happened to the first.
