The Army and Marines are not meeting recruiting goals. I saw a general on CSPAN outline how the current rotation of troops will fail in 2006 if recruiting goals are not met.
I have a solution.
In WWII, the President's son was a Marine.
The current President's children, and many of our elected officials, Democratic and Republican, have kinfolk of draft age.
Let their children enlist, in the name of moral authority, so that then, those officials can look us in the eye, and ask us to send our children to Iraq.
Until then, I can't hear what they say for seeing what they do.
