Suprised Guliani's camp hasn't jumped on this yet...

"In a life marked largely by political caution, one entry on Senator Clinton's résumé stands out: her clerkship in 1971 at one of America's most radical law firms, Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein.

One partner at the firm, Doris Walker, was a Communist Party member at the time. Another partner, Robert Treuhaft, had left the party in 1958, several years after being called before the House Un-American Activities Committee and labeled as one of America's most "dangerously subversive" lawyers. The Oakland-based firm was renowned for taking clients others rejected as too controversial, including Communists, draft resisters, and members of the African-American militant group known as the Black Panthers.

To this day, Mrs. Clinton's decision to work at the unabashedly left-wing firm is surprising, even shocking, to some of her former colleagues there and to those supporting her bid for the presidency. To the former first lady's enemies and political opponents, her summer at the Treuhaft firm is yet another indication that radical ideology lurks beneath the patina of moderation she has adopted in public life."

Oh God, what's next, she has a third eye and comes from the planet Remulak???

As to why Giuliani's camp hasn't jumped on this, perhaps this little refresher would help...

Giuliani married his second cousin, Regina Perrugi. After 14 years, he divorced her, but got an official "annulment" -- a decree from the Catholic Church that the marriage never really happened (for 14 years!!), thus allowing remarriage in the Church.

Giuliani's behavior has led him to three marriages and 20 years of rumors about his affairs. Even back in 1993, his mayoral campaign commissioned its own study of his vulnerabilities, which emphasized his "raucous social life" during his marriage, and said that his behavior raised "questions about a weirdness factor" in his personal life.

After divorcing his second cousin, Rudy married Donna Hanover, a TV new anchor in New York. In 1996, he started appearing in public frequently with his press secretary, Cristyne Lategano (who was 28, and the youngest NYC press secretary ever, when Giuliani appointed her.) Vanity Fair magazine reported that they were dating. Hanover then changed back to her maiden name on tax returns, stopped appearing with Guiliani in public, and barred Cristyne from any of her public events.

In Spring of 1999, Giuliani stopped appearing with Lategano and started dating Judith Nathan, a wealthy divorcee. They eventually married in 2003; Rudy started divorce proceedings against Hanover in 2000 and described Judith Nathan as "a very good friend" and a "very, very fine person." At a press conference, Hanover said "For several years, it was difficult to participate in Rudy's public life because of his relationship with one staff member." referring to Lategano, as Hanover's spokeswoman confirmed.)

However, while he wouldn't confirm it in so many words, Giuiliani was not exactly discreet about his affair with Nathan either. She accompanied him to dozens of public events -- town-hall meetings, the opera, fundraisers, even the St. Patrick's Day parade, marching alongside him just as the mayor's wife always has. In fact, he sang to her in Italian in New York restaurants, and kept what one newspaper called "a love nest" in the St. Regis Hotel.

And, oh yeah, he wears women's clothing...

I suppose that is as good as reason as any.

I would say that this story about hillary... and your story about Rudy, has more relevance than a short stint at an elementary school in Jakarta.

It is difficult to escape the passions of your youth (when I say youth, I mean mid-20's), whether it be the commies, black panthers, the military, crime, or capitalism. To some, her social activism will garner praise and admiration; others will despise her for it.
