As most of us on the board are well - and painfully - aware, movies and TV shows where air travel is a part of the plot almost always contain errors. [Do not get me started on news media aviation errors]. Perhaps the most common one is stock footage showing, say, a a DC-9 taking off, a 727 inflight, and a 747 landing while carrying someone in the show.

Just an episode of King of the Hill from 1999 showing the misadventures of the Hill family and their friends on an icy Thanksgiving at DFW.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0620237/

What is your favorite error?

--> A. The Hills being rerouted on flight from Love Field to Billings, MT? (The Wright Amendment was very much in effect in '99.)

--> B. Airport explosive detection dogs reacting to a smoked turkey?

--> C. An airport roadway sign listing American West?

Note: At the first hint of thread going East vs. West, I will ask the mods to close it.

I think I'll go with B due to the TSA

The backwards US Airways flag in 2012?

The LAX Parking Spot shuttle visible from the baggage claim area at "EWR," and the Tom Bradley It'l terminal food court at LAX subbing for EWR in "Friends With Benefits."

KOTH got a few air travel facts wrong, but an episode of Family Guy http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1610749/
featured a dead accurate depiction of a DASH-8. (Albeit not on US Express colors, bur a generic grey.)
