Last day for GSO mainline Oct 31st

I would just like to wish all of my former co-worker and friends at GSO a hardy farewell wish them well at their new stations. After a long history of mainline service in GSO, the last mainline UA 159 departed at 1645 hours. United was the start of my career in aviation, I was blessed with many friendships that will last for years to come no matter where everyone settles. To be honest I was surprised GSO held on for so long, everyone was surprised when RDU closed after 9/11. The bean counters finally caught up though and with the retirement of the 737's another station with a long storied history will be forgotten like many others who have closed before.
