LHR closed for emergency landing

BA flight to Oslo makes emergency landing back at LHR. Article picture says something about engine cowling coming off. In the text there is mention of an a/c fire that was put out after landing. Passengers evacuated via slides. No one injured.

That actually happened on Friday. I started a thread over in the foreign airlines forum.

Sounds like someone did not latch the cowls correctly and the crew missed it?

I cannot think of any other reason for both to depart the aircraft in flight...
