Under the current IAM contracts there is language that says if another labor group (ALPA) receives a increase in pay and or benefits, the IAM members (Rampers, Csas, Res.....) will also increase their pay and benefits. The pilots are looking forward to this merger. It has been reported that they will open their contracts and will not only increase their pay but might have a stake in the new airline.

If we vote the IAM in, will we be entitled under the existing agreements to the same increases (percentage) the pilots may received? I think so! Even if you distrust the union or some union officials, we have a chance to regain what we lost during bankruptcy. Let's not blow this opportunity. Make a smart decision for you and your family.
