More Goofy Reduced Service - Newburgh, Ny (swf)

I've been flying to SWF regularly on $800 tickets. The airport is just so close to work and SO convenient that it's been approved even though it's expensive.

With a Saturday night stay, the cost goes down to $300-$400.

I have noticed that every Dash-8 is about 80-90% full that I've seen.

Yet coming soon, the 8pm flight is gone. Maybe it's just not profitable or maybe it's unreasonable to make connections in PHL at that time?

It seems to me they could grow to 50 seaters on this route and even 2 a day to CLT.

I believe that Allegheny is the only dash operator into SWF. With the tremendous crew losses to MDA, ALG is forced to cancel over 700 flights in July alone. I'm guessing this may be a part of that? Not really sure, just offering a possibility...
