Oxymoron. A statement that ties two related concepts together - or does it? :D

"If carrying goods in a car is shipping? Why are goods in a ship called cargo?"

Is it good if a vacuum really sucks?

If you are cross-eyed and have dyslexia, can you read all right?

How about some more

I always like the simple ones that the English language can not give us new words. Instead, we combine these to try to convey what we mean...

- A Fine Mess
- aging yuppie
- almost exactly
- Anarchy Rules!
- Dodge Ram
- graduate student
- numbing sensation
- once again
- Unsolved Mystery
- Flurry of inactivity
- Rolling Stop
- Virtual Reality
- First Annual
- Alone Together
- Gentle Turbulance

My wife can pick them out like crazy - it is almost annoying to watch the news with her since it seems the news writers are really the worst (or best should I say) at them.

WE drive on parkways, but we park on driveways.
We sit on the stands.
And what about jumbo shrimp & fresh frozen?

If a word is misspelled in the dictionary how would we ever know?

Why is the third hand on a clock called the second hand?

Doesn't "expecting the unexpected" make the unexpected expected? <_<

why is an orange an orange, but grapes and bananas aren't purples and yellow's??

and is a fly with no wings a walk??
