Piedmont Aircraft Order?

Great, Maybe they'll come back here to RDG!
PDT is on the brink of parking airplanes.we cant get pilots or mechanics to come here. Last two classes have had 2 pilots. No new airplanes in sight....looks like the only chance for PDT pilots is to get a 190 position via a flow through. Will that EVER happen? Seems like the wholly owned PDT/PSA pilots should get a flow to fill 190 FO positions....that seem to get denied fromm furloughed guys. Any news from anyone?

Umm... Nobody is asking "the furloughed guys" anything. This furloughed guy says you can have those E190 Positions. The pay is an insult.

Wake up and smell the doom.

529 pilots in November.
411 as of last Thursday.
407 as of today, 2 of which are brand new.

We have averaged two MX driven ferry flights a day this year (190).

We [pilots] have unwittingly flown a -300 with a damaged engine, that was illegally returned to service.

We WILL park planes. 1000 hours of new flying added to a system that couldn't handle March.

A dimwitted leadership.

A furious followership.

I smell smoke in Chickenville.

Who cares? We're just a wholly-owned.

That and some parachuts, then we can just kick out pax's as we fly over there house!!! That would be awesome, A big kick in the A$$ followed by 'Thank you for flying US Airways'
Actually, if you tossed their luggage out with them they would probably love this approach. No rush hour traffic driving home from the airport AND their luggage is closer to them than if they flew to an airport! LOL

Maybe they'll paint the planes in the old All American Airways colors since picking up and dropping off without landing was the the way they did it in those days.
