Unauthorized trip from a flight school.
Probably got all hooped up and went for a hop.
Knew of a guy who did the same thing at AGC.......got a little sticky when the EMT's found an ounce of toot in his pocket at the crash site. He survived.

I thought the same thing when I read this the first time. Drugs or alcohol (or both) were more than likely involved.
