I will readily admit that I am addicted to podcasts. I listen to them while cutting grass, refurbishing my current fixer upper home, exercising, etc.

My current faves are This American Life, Serial, The Moth, Radiolab, Ted, Sampler (this is new).

I would like this thread to be about the podcasts, the hosts, and extended discussions of some topics.

I'm really glad you started this thread! I'm also addicted, and listen to several. Radio is a bit lacking during my commute.

My current faves are Sklarboro Country (comedy by the Sklar brothers of "Cheap Seats" fame), Marc Maron's WTF podcast, and one that covers soccer in France.

Another good one if you like the sports:

The Gist

Mike Pesca who used to do sports for NPR has this one. He cover way more than sports and it is good.

Listen to podcasts all the time as well. A few of my favorites:

Dogma Debate
Evolution Talk
Origin Stories
Skeptics Guide to the Universe
Skeptoid
Star Talk Radio
Unbelievable?

I listened to a new one for me today. Three episodes in a row. It is from a group called "How Stuff Works".

Very interesting since my grandmother bought me a set of books back in the 70s called "How Things Work", one of my most prize possessions.

This podcast is called "Stuff You Should Know".
