“Where are the anti-war liberals? Where are the baby-killer signs? Why aren't the major media networks showing pictures of dead children as a result of Pres. Obama’s air strike?â€￾

Hey, haven’t you heard? CHANGE HAS COME TO AMERICA

Missiles fired from suspected US drones killed at least 15 people inside Pakistan today, the first such strikes since Barack Obama became president and a clear sign that the controversial military policy begun by George W Bush has not changed.

Security officials said the strikes, which saw up to five missiles slam into houses in separate villages, killed seven "foreigners" - a term that usually means al-Qaeda - but locals also said that three children lost their lives.

3 days and everything was supposed to be fixed already? Really? Is this the best you have? Are you that obtuse or just throwing more crap at the wall to see if it sticks

If anyone thought (inlcuding anti-war types) that Obama was not going to take swift action in Pakistan they were fooling themselves. Obama made it very clear in his campaigns that he would take action in Pakistan if Pakistan's government didn't.

Take for example the threats he made in August: "Barack Obama, a leading Democrat candidate in the US presidential race, provoked anger yesterday by threatening to send troops into Pakistan to hunt down terrorists — even without permission from that country’s Government. "

Nope think again....
The operations were stepped up last year after frustration inside the Bush administration over a perceived failure by Islamabad to stem the flow of Taleban and al-Qaeda fighters from the tribal regions into Afghanistan.

Perhaps they realize that it takes more than 3 days to fix all of W's screw ups. Some people are little slower than others in understanding that.

What do you mean "think again"? I was not disagreeing with you!!! Again, if people are suprised that Obama would attack sites within Pakistan, those people were not paying attention for the last 6 months. Obama had threatened this type of action throughout his campaign, and he wasted no time carrying out that threat!

You can post the same article all day long; it doesn't change the fact that Obama made those threats in August of last year, and now is carrying out those threats.

This could get interesting . . .

Will Obama authorize US Military cross border incursions into a “sovereignâ€￾ country to take the battle to the Taliban? My guess (and hope) is that is exactly what Obama will do. Bush did it with great success and Obama is likely to follow suit. No “changeâ€￾ needed.

“Unlawful enemy combatantsâ€￾ will eventually be detained and the US Military will want to extract as much information from them as possible. Will they be read their Miranda Rights? Will they be sent to GITMO?

Perhaps it’s you that’s slow.

As Lilly has indicated in subsequent posts, Obama apparently feels that Bush’s well laid out plan to take it to the Taliban is extremely effective. My feeling is that you are not man enough to admit that the Bush plan to take the war to the Taliban was/is the best plan. Grow up, we’re at war.

Hat tip to Obama for continuing to take the war to the Taliban hood! No "change" needed.
