So the 1000 Carrier jobs are more important than all of the auto industry?

UTC (Carrier parent) has much to lose if they don't kiss the ring of the new administration who has said how much they are going to increase defense spending. Do you know who owns P&W? Engine maker for the F-35 among many other huge contracts.

This is good for the top 800 (that is how many union jobs are actually staying for now) on the seniority list there. Hopefully they have a retirement plan.
