Redeyes

[wannabe CRJ driver]

Does anybody know why we don''t do redeyes from the west coast. I think redeyes from PHX,LAS,LAX,even OAK & SAN to MDW,BWI,MCI,MCO,STL&TPA would do pretty good....but maybe I don''t have to big picture!

I once talked to a pilot about this topic and was told that WN would have to hire more Pilots/Flt. Attnd. and ground staff to do these flights. There is also the issue of when maintanence would be performed. These WN a/c have a high utilization during the day and need some down time to stay up to snuff. Don't know if this is true but it all makes sense.[]
