Scandanavia FLights Continues over pond

Around 1820 edt over NY, CT. Saturday Scandanavia flight 910 heavy reports some engine stalling ( mentioned by pilot ) but no flaming out. ATC inquires in to their status. They say they are ok and will continue. ATC a bit surprised as we. Why would ANYONE cross the pond with known engine problems even minor?

Time for FAA to scrutinize these foreign carriers.

Happens. Remember the BA 747 a couple of years ago that lost an engine after takeoff from LAX and continued on to LHR rather than returning? IIRC they had to stop for fuel at Prestwick, Scotland due to using more fuel from flying lower and slower on three engines all the way.
