Elementary school age children marching in a 'gay pride parade' is not only child abuse (exposure to pornographic scenes), its sickening beyond belief that parents would allow their children to participate. :down:

The group presented the school board with pictures from the parade of scantily dressed men, sadomasochists and drag queens.

James Hartline, who several years ago renounced his homosexual lifestyle before becoming a Christian, spoke first. He reminded the board of previous attempts to speak to them about the issue when he repeatedly was interrupted by parade supporters, booed and "called names while speaking."

Hartline asserted it was wrong to expose small children to pornographic scenes and sexual imagery that included overt public displays of affection between homosexuals, along with displays of pink phallus symbols.

And yes,I feel it is immoral behavior and I do not have problems with my own sexuality... :mf_boff:

Wouldn't children exposed to sexually explicit representations constitute some violation of civil law?

Is little Sally allowed to have a dildo?
Or does one have to be 21 to posess or attempt to purchase such items?

The MPAA sets the standard at what is suitable for minors to view in theaters, you can't take a child into an adult book store, but apparently if it glorifies the homosexual agenda its ok to flaunt it to the little ones. :down:
 
Growing up in life,one desires to see things become more clear,move in the direction where everyone is dealt a good hand.But WTF has happened to us and society as a whole anymore.....right wing sits by and does nothing while radicals from the old commie party and liberals team together to impose their horseshit on the unsuspecting masses who wake up too late in life...What has happened to our good 'ol USA? :down:

Why can't we just let our kids do what kids are supposed to do at that age. Why foist a bunch of adult issues upon their little juvenile brains. There is more than enough of that stuff for them when they get older. Let them enjoy their youth.

We is a euphuism. We would ‘assume’ that we are one and of the same, but in fact ‘we’ are not one of ‘we’. If we were all part of the ‘we’ then ‘we’ would be in agreement. However, since we are not all part of the ‘we’ and not in agreement, then ‘we’ can not agree on what ‘we’ should want nor accomplish.

According to the Gay Pride site that was linked on the christian site, I did not see any pictures portraying the things that were accused of taking place.. Come to think of it, there were no pictures on the christian site either. I would have though someone would have some photographic evidence. Seems to beg the question whether or not the accusation is supportable?

Neither the article nor the SDCC site indicate whether or not participation was compulsory or not. My guess is that it was not.

The only thing I will ‘agree’ with is that the participants should not have been allowed to use a banner of the public school district. IMO, that constitutes a (at the very least tacit) state endorsement of a life style / belief system that not all people agree with. Just as they should not be in the business of endorsing any religion, they also should not be in the business of endorsing specific life styles.

Given that pornography is not allowed to be displayed in public and that physical pornographic acts in public are also against the law and given that for any parade in public law enforcement must be present, I am certain any such behavior would have been handled according to the law. After all, it’s not like this was Mardi Gras in New Orleans which takes place every year where women are encouraged to flash their breasts for beads. I guess since they are not gay, it does not merit any concern though.

I’ll leave for a little so you boys can continue your witch hunt.
 
Never been to MSY, much less during Mardi Gras. I'm not a drinker so not my cup of tea. I would not mind going to see the buildings (that survived) and have some of the food. It's on my too do list.

As to the topic. No one is forced to go to the parade. I fail to see how it harms society any more than some of the other crap that goes not that no one even says boo about. The violent films and games that are coming out just to mention one right off the top of my head. Seems as long as someone is making a buck off it, go for it.

A Smith has done more to harm society than any gay pride parade has IMO. She maries a billionaire with 2 feet in the grave, has the intelligence of a 5 year old. Parades her self around. Girls look at her and maybe think ... oh I can be like her (or Hilton, Lohan, Spears ....). We live in a society driven by money. Trump is looked as successful? Why?

Put the blame where its due...the media is the only reason you and I ever heard of Anna...to me it seems that all these so called idiots in these situations are in fact exploited for cash by some network to get us to watch...apparently it works with the amount of bizzare humans willing to do just about anything for their 5 minutes of fame.Lets air out our dirty laundry so America can see how messed up we are... :lol:

If the media had the control you imply it would seem to follow that there would never be any shows that we canceled due to lack of viewer ship. If the people are not interested in what the media puts on, they will look for something else. The media shows everything about Smith because the public as a general rules, wants to know everything it can about her. IMO, the media is 50% responsible (or less). If we watch it, why would they not show it?
