I don't know about that Bob Owens. I'm starting to think Tilton won't survive CH11. Whom ever provides an equity investment to help UAL come out of CH11 will probably want their own management.
I would expect they would be management with strong airline and business experience. Something UA has lacked since Wolf helped create the POS ESOP.

I liked the quote from Whiteford with his "surprise" at Tiltons comment about opening the contracts. I mean we are all going to take a major hit but I think the pilots are about to get the largest reality check of a lifetime.

Of course I think there is alot of humor in this, I mean management is falling all over themselves on how "this is the guy". God, what a joke our management is. We are all buying time to position ourselves for the inevitability of Uniteds demise. Watch the performance rankings closely, because as they slip into the abyss, so will our airline.

In fact, I support the AFA. You know where I stand on certain issues, so you don't need to hint at hypocrisy on my part here. Next time, when someone supports your claims, try to be a bit more tactful. "There are any number of media choices in which to read about this company...", you say. And?
