UAL could outsource a max of 2600 plus jobs

it's precisely because Delaney is on UAL's board that the company gets what it wants.

there are benefits from labor being on a company's board - but when the company gets its way and labor loses, something is severely wrong. It is a complete dereliction of the IAM's responsibilities that Delaney remains and an assurance that there are a whole lot of bad days coming for UA labor.

It's also worth noting that a former Boeing exec is on UAL's board.
