On a flight back home to Philly yesterday a FA told me of a reciprocal agreement for employee travel for employees of US and Alaska. She said she thought it was ID80 or ID90. Does anyone know if this is true. I am not an employee but have a friend at Alaska that would benefit from this if it was true. If true is it good for international travel too?

Thanks

Jay

Yes US and AS have an agreement. We get ID75s and ID90s depending on the route and class of service. Many airlines have this type of agreement. He should check with his travel bureau to find out which carriers Alaska has agreements with since I'm sure they have it with International carriers too. There arent normally restrictions on routes unless there is an embargo on (holidays, summer season, etc). It is also good for other members of the family dpending on the carrier and agreement. Spouse, parents, kids, even some offer domestic partners passes.
