We've already won our case.

...And yet...it must be fairly observed that not so much as a single westie is able to bid east, that separate operations are the current ROE, that the east group may well receive significant pay/benefits enhancements within a year, that 70 million's coming the east way....and that, the shrinking west is, most certainly, evidencing rather severe symptoms of outright desperation.

Gee... the golf scores around here must really be in the dumps. The sport of choice in retirement seems to have lost favor.

It's a matter of when, not if. and the floodgates will open. Sure we won't bump any easties out of their seats, but reserve life will follow most of them into retirement.

that the east group may well recieve significant pay/benefits enhancements within a year,
that 70 million's coming the east way....

Glad to see you preface that with a "may." At least it shows some understanding that you won't see anything beyond that $70 million. Can't wait to see how you guys fight amonst yourselves over the distribution.

and that, the shrinking west is, most certainly, evidencing rather severe symptoms of outright desperation.

Said the east guy whose seniority list is going to lose the EMB's.

And if I recall, the west stills has a block hour arbitration that has yet to be settled.

USA320Pilot comments: There is a proper time and place for everything!

Indeed, and, per long established Alpa tradition; the place and time for instantly rolling up into an utterly pathetic, tear-drenched, fetal ball is always here and now. ..

Indeed, sir. Even in taking the time to type that post... you are TARDY! Get with it! Chop, chop.

Drag your feet and waste money for 5 to 6 years for the inevitable? The east sure does have a problem with being responsible, first you all wouldn't honor your binding arbitration, like honest people do, now you want to thumb your nose at the judge? I hope the damages really sting.

Even the judge knows he can't force a YES vote on a contract and when 2-3 contracts get voted down USAPA will have proved it's original point and WAKE WILL LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT,

VNIIMN

1. First, according to the VNIIMN crowd, there will be no negotiations until after the 9th Circuit rules.

2. Second, assuming the truth of #1, it will take at least a year more to get a contract.

3. Based on that and the current 9th Circuit schedule we are looking at a 2013-2014 timeframe for the first possible proposal to go to a vote.

4. Do you really believe that a federal judge cares one iota if he looks like an idiot to USAPA when it really does seem like existing law supports the position that Judge Wake has taken? Remember, all of the law firms interviewed by Bradford seem to also agree with Judge Wake.
